I.LOVE. THIS. SHOW. We recently switched to F.ios from the evil monopoly called C.omcast. F.ios has a huge selection of channels, much larger then C.omcast (I think) and they have this channel called O.xygen which has the show, Being Erica. Love it! I really look forward to watching this show every week. TV time is definitely a luxury these days now having Max (and not the standard schedule...pre-Max). The shows premise is simple. What if you could re-write history, your own history, knowing what you know now?
From the Being Erica website:
"What happens when life just doesn't turn out as we expect it will? What if you had the benefit of hindsight and could alter those defining choices that you regret now? Welcome to the life of 30-something Erica Strange, where the classic fantasy of revisiting the past offers her a chance to cope with her life and come to terms with her choices.
In BEING ERICA, life changes forever for over-educated and underachieving Erica (Erin Karplunk, The L Word, Godiva's) when she meets Dr. Tom, a mysterious therapist who takes her back in time for a chance to do over those life-defining moments with the foresight and wisdom of seeing how they played out. From prom nights and first kisses to job interviews, Erica's list of regrets has accumulated to the point where she must act now or forever accept her mediocre life. "
The show is taped in Canada and I think its only been on for a month or so, because we've seen every episode from the beginning and we DVR it too! LOL. Last nights episode was about learning about your parents. Its hard when you become an adult and realize that your parents aren't perfect. They've made mistakes and choices just like we have. And guess what? They didn't always make good decisions either. Amazing huh? Parents aren't perfect.
The show? A simple pleasure.
Whats up the for the weekend? Easter, parents, in-laws, cute outfits for Max...
